About the Course

This is an intensive 60+ hour course taught in 2 parts, covering multiple disciplines related to the Oil & Gas, Power Generation, and Mining Industries. The course focuses on integrated construction, maintenance, shutdowns, and includes information from ASME, CSA, API, and AWS codes. This course is designed to enhance the knowledge and confidence of the personnel. We have partnered up with Boomer Inspection and Consulting Inc. to offer this program that is presented by highly experienced, progressive and professional quality managers who have a minimum of 20 years experience in managing quality on a wide range of multi-discipline projects.

Prerequisite

For Educational Credits

CSA W178.2 Level 1, 2 or 3 Certification is a pre-requisite for this course in order to claim educational credits which can be used in place of completing the mandatory 6-year re-write as specified in Clause 10.5.1 of CSA W-178 2 (14) Certification of Welding Inspectors.

For Knowledge

No prerequisite is required, just come with an open mind and willingness learn. Good command of English is required.

You can register for either class or both as they are separate sections.

Canadian Quality Training & Certification –  Part 1: Quality Control 

Date: TBA

Fee: $1,295.00 plus GST (30 hrs total) 

Food & Beverage: Lunch provided for the first day only. Beverages provided for the full 3 days.

Time: 8:00 am to 6:00 pm (Please come 15 minutes early on the first day.)

Location: Sawridge Inn and Conference Center, 4235 Gateway Blvd NW, Edmonton, AB T6J 5H2

Additional Notes: The payment is not refundable but the training can be rescheduled.

Canadian Quality Training & Certification –  Part 2: Quality Assurance

Date: TBA

Fee: $1,295.00 plus GST (30 hrs total) 

Food & Beverage: Lunch provided for the first day only. Beverages provided for the full 3 days.
